Celebrity Hair Styles For You

The latest in hairstyle trends are often "unveiled" in Hollywood where celebrities are usually proclaimed to be either "fashionistas" or "fashion victims". Let's face it, Hollywood celebrities tend to change their hair styles more often than ordinary people do their laundry. A star could be a long-haired brunette one day, and a curly-blonde the following week -- celebrity hair styles are fickle at best. However, this doesn't stop ladies from all over the world from trying to duplicate the "much-photographed" styles of their favorite star. Here are some of the top celebrity hair styles seen in Hollywood:

Shaggy Flips with Long Bangs

This style is worn by singer Alanis Morissette on her latest album "So-Called Chaos". Alanis has left the grungy "Jagged Little Pill" days behind, and now sports what could be called a "mature" shaggy flip hairstyle that features long bangs that are precisely "thinned" by a stylist's razor.

This type of hair style bands should never be cut "straight across". Rather, they must have longer sides that are angled toward the cheeks. You can create this supple "back flip" with a curling iron with large-barrel, a holding spray and round brush.

Long, Wavy Curls

Halle Berry uses this new look in her movie "The Guide". Here "Cat Woman" short-haired style is long gone and her new flowing soft, shoulder-length curls are one of the most "talked-about" celebrity hair styles in Hollywood. Halle took this hairstyle a step higher by adding wavy curls at the "MTV Movie Awards".

You can create your own "Halle Berry" curly look without the huge price tag by simply using a moisturizing shampoo the curls will absorb. Make ure your styling spray doesn't make the hair frizzy.

Two-Toned Blonde

This celebrity hairstyle has been worn by two famous stars -- Sharon Stone when playing the villain in "Cat Woman", and Glen Close in the latest version of "The Stepford Wives". The hair style is a mix of light and dark blonde that complement a cut.

Brilliant Brunette

Catherine Zeta-Jones wears this stunning style in "Ocean's 12" and "The Legend of Zorro". Catherine shades her hair with the luminous color of espresso which brings out her iridescent eyes and fair skin. The length of her hairstyle permits an intense styling versatility.

The Edgy Bob

"The Young and the Restless" actress, Tonya Lee Williams, wears this hairstyle. This "classic bob" simply has a "new-millennium" modernization, featuring "breezy" layers sliced with a stylist's razor. The look can be maintained using a curling iron and setting lotion -- add spiky ends turned outward for the maximum-feminine celebrity look.
